Guide to Faraya Waterfall

Faraiya - Nature Sights
Faraya Waterfall, also called Nabeh el Laban, drops on the border between Faraya and Kfar Debiane in the high country of Keserwan. It is a seasonal mountain fall: strongest with snowmelt and after winter rain, thinner in late summer, and surrounded by the same peaks that draw skiers to Faqra and skiers’ chalets. A visit is informal. Wear shoes that can handle mud and rock, and do not expect railings everywhere. The fall pairs with Chabrouh Dam and, for archaeology, the temples at Faqra a short drive away. Among nature sights near Beirut it is one of the easiest high-mountain waterfalls to reach on a day trip.
