Hidden Gem is a small public green in Naameh, on the coastal hills south of Beirut, the sort of local park that does not appear in national guidebooks but matters to the neighbourhood. Shade, a short walk and a break from the highway are the practical reasons to stop. Naameh also has churches and mosques, so the park can be the outdoor half of a brief village visit on the way to the Chouf or the south. Expect modest facilities. Leave it clean, and do not confuse it with the larger cedar reserves inland. As a public park it fills a gap on the map between the capital and Damour.
