Welcome to The Bride’s Pool

Birket al Arous, the Bride’s Pool, is a water hole at Ain Qeni in the Chouf, linked by name and local outings with Al Arouss Bridge nearby. Seasonal flow fills the pool for wading and photographs; in the dry months it shrinks and the surrounding rock becomes the view. The spot is informal, without a large visitor centre, so come prepared, supervise children and do not jump from unmarked heights. Ain Qeni also has the old Kahlounieh bridge, and the drive sits between Bater, Barouk and the lower Chouf. It is a modest nature sight that locals rate higher than its size suggests.
