Our Lady of Majdel Meouch is the Marian church of Majdal el Meouch, a Chouf village on the approaches to Beiteddine and the upper mountain. The dedication to the Virgin anchors parish life alongside the Antonine sisters’ monastery, the Mar Maroun church and the Saint Charbel statue. Visitors on the palace road can stop for a quieter church visit than the crowds at Beiteddine. Dress modestly and avoid interrupting services. The village setting, with views over the Chouf terraces, is part of the experience. It belongs in a serious list of Marian churches in the mountain, not only the famous shrines of Harissa and Zahle.
