Saint John Marc Church is a principal parish of old Jbeil, dedicated to John Mark, traditionally linked with the Gospel of Mark. The parish publishes a full rhythm of liturgies: on Sundays at 7:00, 9:00, 11:00 and 6:00 in the evening, and on weekdays at 6:45 in the morning and 5:00 in the evening. Those hours matter if you hope to see the church at prayer or, instead, to visit quietly between services. The building stands in the medieval town near the souk and the Roman street, within the UNESCO site. Dress modestly. It is the working heart of Christian Byblos, a few minutes from the Sea Castle.
