Guide to Zaituna Bay

Beirut - Nature Sights
Zaituna Bay is the marina district on Beirut’s seafront, a curve of promenade, yachts and restaurants between downtown and the Corniche. It is a modern waterfront, built as part of the reconstruction, and it works as a nature-and-city sight: open water, a walk and the skyline rather than a beach wilderness. Families stroll in the evening; visitors use it as the easy link between Martyrs’ Square, the corniche and Raoucheh. The appeal is public space by the Mediterranean, not ancient masonry. Go at sunset, stay on the promenade and expect a polished, urban atmosphere. For a first evening in Beirut, Zaituna Bay is a simple plan.
