Al Ram is a nature spot in and above Deir el Qamar, the kind of rocky, planted hillside that frames the old capital of the Chouf. It is less a single monument than a place to look back at the town, the midan and the mountain road toward Beiteddine. Locals use it for air and a short walk; visitors add it when they want a viewpoint after the serails and churches. The ground can be uneven and there is little infrastructure, so go in daylight with sensible shoes. As a nature sight it balances the architectural density of Deir el Qamar and pairs easily with Jabal al Salib and the town woodland.
