Welcome to Local Waterfall

The local waterfall at Mazraat el Chouf is a village fall in the Chouf, seasonal and informal, used more by residents and hikers than by coach tours. Water depends on the rains; the path depends on the season. Mazraat el Chouf is also a trailhead area for walks toward Marj Bisri, so the fall can be the short reward and the hiking trail the longer one. Wear grip shoes, keep away from slippery edges and carry water. It is a nature sight to combine with the Bisri valley and the road to Beiteddine, not a developed cascade with ticket booths. Spring is the time to go.
