Hiking & Camping - Haret Jandal - Mount Lebanon
Ain al Sayfiyeh is a spring in Haret Jandal, used by locals for water, a picnic and a short walk in the Chouf hills. Mountain sources like this one explain settlement patterns better than many monuments: cold water, a stone spout or pool, and trees. The visit is informal and seasonal, best in the green months, and it suits hikers already in the Jandal and Niha area. Carry your own drinking water unless you know the source is safe to drink, watch your step on wet rock, and leave the site clean. As a hiking stop it is modest, local and worth marking if you are building a spring-to-spring route.
